Status Report and a Comparison

I think my mood (how I hate that word!) might actually be stabilizing with both high and low symptoms, but slightly below normal. That would be great.

I remember when I was in my 20s I got mononucleosis and I was sick in bed for about a week. Just laying in bed made me feel profoundly exhausted. I was actually manic at the time, so it was an odd combination of experiences. The memory of the feeling of exhaustion, however, reminds me of being low (just far less severe).

If you’ve never been depressed and you want to know what full on untreated depression feels like, and you’ve had mono, start with that. It’s a good approximation.
